I generally recommend hand washing to help protect the design and keep your cup looking its best for as long as possible.

Use mild soap, warm water, and something non-abrasive for cleaning.

Avoid letting your drinkware sit in extreme heat for long periods, and follow any specific care instructions that come with your item.

Basically, treat your custom cup a little nicer than the random plastic cup living under the passenger seat of your car.
